theme :: A Literary Magazine

theme: our stories came about when deciding what I wanted to spend my final semester at the University of Georgia working on. I have always had a passion for literature and the beauty of words, and felt that I could really benefit from focusing on typography for those few months. I based this magazine off of an online journal called Our Stories, but retitled it theme.


I limited it to two type families, Caslon and Frutiger, and kept it black and white. Desiring both a contemporary and classic feel, I wanted each of the individual stories to have there own character, but to also feel a part of the whole.












I designed this promotional poster to work as a Call for Entries for the literary magazine; continuing my using of both black and white and experimenting with typography.
